My husband and daughter went to the flea market on Sunday to give me some time to study. DB came home with the board game, Upwords.
Two things about this-
- We already have this game.
- It sucks.

WHAT!?! This game kicks ass! Well, okay, I thought that it was cool the last time I played it. Probably sometime around 1992. :) Now I want to play it again just to see if it "stacks up" to my memory (and yes, pun intended).
Are you kidding?! SUCKS. There's no incentive to be creative with your words. You end up stacking Rat on top of Bat on top of Ban. Boring.
You are absolutely correct. Upwords sucks. You are limited in word length yet rewarded for changing pun to run. You need teh most free-form game of all-- SNATCH! A quick google search has shown me that they have changed the name to Snatch-It. (A quick google search for "snatch" will show you why.) Anyway, here it is on Amazon:
